Our reputation for handmade, indulgent desserts is hard to beat. We advise you don’t leave without trying one or if you can’t fit one in, why not take one home to enjoy later?

Our drinks menu is extensive and we’re proud to sell many local beers, ales and spirits.

Our Famous Roasts

Craving the ultimate comfort food? We serve Carlisle’s finest roast dinner, featuring our signature succulent silverside of beef alongside tender roast lamb, turkey and pork*. Every plate comes piled high with all the trimmings – crispy golden potatoes, giant Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables, and rich, homemade gravy.

Reservations and walk-ins available daily – Walks-ins only on Sundays.

*Pork served Sunday only.
