We’ve been missing you! Have you been missing our delicious roast dinners and homemade sweets? We are busy making a few changes to how we look after our customers so that everyone stays safe in the Auctioneer.
During these difficult times things have changed here at The Auctioneer. To ensure peoples safety we have put in procedures to make people feel safe while social distancing.
Exciting News!
From this Wednesday the 30th of September Auctioneer will open for meals and takeaways every evening from 5pm. Lunchtime will remain the same.
And we are pleased to announce that also on Wednesday is the start of our new kids eat half price offer between 5pm and 6pm Monday to Friday (terms and conditions at the bottom of this post)
T&Cs - This offer entitles you to one children’s main meal, for half price from our children’s menu on the purchase of an adult main meal. Excludes Saturdays and Sundays and Bank Holidays. Offer valid Monday to Friday between 5pm and 6pm. Valid from Wednesday the 30th of September 2020. One adult main entitles you to one children’s main for half price, two adult mains entitle you to two children’s mains for half price. Valid for up to 2 children accompanied by 2 adults. This offer is suitable for children 12 years and under... Subject to availability. Not valid on takeaway.

The Auctioneer is one of Carlisle’s most popular places to go for freshly prepared, quality cooked food. We are open seven days a week for lunches and evening meals and are the ideal venue for families and small celebrations.
We are particularly well known for our hearty main courses, using locally sourced beef, lamb and pork, and our tempting home made sweets. A selection of vegan, vegetarian and gluten free menu options is also available.
You can be sure of warm, friendly service in comfortable surroundings with a selection of fine wines and local real ales to complement your food and when the weather's fair we have seating outside by our Lakeland slate water feature.
We also have a lovely function room upstairs which you can book for business events, dinners, lunches, weddings, birthday parties and all kinds of events. Please pop in anytime to have a look at our room.
The function room has a private bar, dance floor, and a self contained lighting and sound system. There is also a private suite for the benefit of our extra special guests as well as full disabled access to the upstairs room via our lift.
